With a formal qualification as a Professional Florist from Pencoed Agricultural College in 2005, followed by an advanced course in Wedding Floristry, I have honed my skills over two decades in the floral industry. Shortly after qualifying, I founded Flowers by Jennie McCallion, dedicating myself to perfecting my craft. Over the years, I have gained extensive experience, successfully creating bespoke floral designs for hundreds of weddings and funerals.
After many rewarding years working as a florist, I now share my passion for floral design and creativity as a Floristry Lecturer at Gower College, Swansea. Teaching allows me to inspire the next generation of florists, passing on the skills, techniques, and love of flowers that shaped my own career. I still enjoy staying connected to the industry and bringing real-world experience into the classroom, helping students develop their skills, artistry and confidence.
